Holiday Cottage suitable for couples or up to  7persons. If you are looking for Luxury and all the comforts of home look no further as this cottage is the perfect Holiday House for couples or a family.

Built in c1895 and renovated in 2010.

Tenterfield Cottage is a three bedroom classic country home with loads of charm.It has three bedrooms. Main Bedroom has queen bed and cosy electric fire.  Second Bedroom has one king bed and one single bed. Third Bedrom is a self contained one bedroom unit called Homeleigh Suite with double bed, kitchette and its own air conditioning . (Suite is part of the house ). If you require a one night stay this unit is ideal but only suitable for a couple. If the cottage is rented we do not rent the unit out seperately. You can book the house or the unit.

The cottage has a large kitchen with full electric stove, microwave  fridge/freezer and  all the modern convenieces you need in a country kitchen. If cooking is not for you it is only a short stroll or drive to cafe's and restaurants. All  luxurious Linen is supplied and a starter pack with tea,coffee,sugar and milk to enjoy on arrival.

Relax in comfort in your living room and sit back and be romanced in front of the cosy " wood fire" or sit on the large back deck with bistro blinds and have a BBQ. We have  recycle airconditioning in the Living Room and also Homeleigh suite for added comfort.

Take a few moments to have a look around at our beautiful cottage, read about the historic significance of our area and once you are satisfied you can even enquire online.

Browse the local markets, shops, cafes, wineries, art galleries, antique shops and local villages.

Escape to "Classic" Country Charm. Our cottage will be everything you desire from romance to relaxing.

At Mingoola Hall. QLD  time  6pm, NSW time  7pm. Bring your own Meat and Drinks and a  salad to share with everyone. $2 per Family. Any produce eggs plants etc. you would like to donate to hall so we can sell and raise some money for upcoming work will be appreciated. 
10 October                    Bus Trip to Quilt & Craft Show
A bus will depart to the Brisbane Quilt and Craft show at 6.00am. Join our group at the show or do your own thing in Brisbane. Departing Brisbane 4.00pm for the return journey home. 11 October          Garage sale for Northern Tablelands Wildlife Carers
From 8am- 2pm at 142 Miles Street, Tenterfield. We are a fully volunteer group who rescue, care and rehabilitate orphaned/hurt wildlife.  All money raised will go to the feeding, medical bills, and on going costs of caring for our animals. 16 October                    Featured Artist Exhibition Opening
At the Artists' Collective Studio, Rouse Street, Tenterfield. All welcome. Sculptural, decorative and functional woodworks using natural and repurposed timber by Michael Pieper. Hand-dyed silk scarves and paintings on silk by Sue Jurd. Exhibition continues to November 15.
17 October                    Billycarts on the Border
A fun day of Billycart racing at Wallangarra/Jennings. Several age divisions: 5-7yrs; 8-11yrs; 12-15yrs; Open; Primary School & Secondary School Challenges, and the BORDER 1000 STATE OF ORIGIN CHALLENGE, with First Prize of $1000, and Runner-up $250. 25 October                    Mental Health Month Event – Movie Oddball (G)
1.45pm at the Tenterfield cinema. $5 per person entry including the movie, mental health display and a cuppa. The story of Allan "Swampy" Marsh and his Maremma dog Oddball. Swampy convinced local authorities to allow Oddball to protect a colony of Little Penguins on Middle Island from wild cats and dogs.
